I seem to have joined a band - any advice?

I have to do backing vocals (not a problem) but also play the bass

I haven't picked up a bass since I sold mine when i left school tumpty-tum years ago

good for you, I play bass too :) you will pick up the skills again easily enough with a bit of practice each day, and there is loads of tabs free online nowadays for practice
