At last! A good tune by the artic monkeys!

Heard the latest by Artic Monkeys tonight and for once it is good.

Then I found out it had been produced by Josh Homme from QOTSA and it made sense.

It was the last album that was produced by the divine Mr. Homme.

So i take it you didnt like that one then?

I tried to get into the Arctics but couldn't get with the whingey whining sound so when Humbug came out I gave it a wide birth.

Last night Liz Barnes played the latest track and it got my attention.
I'll go and listen to Humbug and give it a fair listen but I'm still not impressed by the first too albums.

There are some great songs on their first album - When the Sun Goes Down and I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor to name but two. I've never been a massive fan but I've always liked them. New album is sounding really good too.

Lyra, Those two songs are what turned me off to the arctics in the first place!!!

I feel we shall never agree on music, Upahill.
