DH is working with a musician friend of his to release an album of lullabies (all original) she's recorded. He's quite well set up to get the album into regular music shops/mainstream media, but has no idea how to distribute it to non-music outlets - libraries, toy shops, book shops, baby shops, that sort of thing. Anybody out there got any advice on how to go about this?
Any tips on promoting to family-based print and online publications would be really helpful too.
It's a lovely album, really quite beautiful and I think it will appeal to a lot of people.
It's by Essie Jain, and it's here: www.lightofmorning.com
Anyone got any useful ideas? contacts??
