I thought this could be a thread for showcasing your favourite new music. Might help some MNers discover new bands they otherwise wouldn't have heard of.
(btw, can you name the band and the song in the post otherwise we'll have a thread full of 'here' and 'this')

Yep, Andy Burrows used to be Razorlight's drummer. He left last year and formed I Am Arrows. He recorded the whole album on his own, playing every instrument himself. Very talented chap.

A new one from . A band who has not put one foot wrong IMO.

Could have posted any song by either of these bands, they are just soooooo good. The XX album is amazing, really atmospheric and moody. The drums are a bit more fun and summery.

UQD, I saw White Lies live on Saturday. They were pretty good.

Here's one I just discovered.

The rest of the album is amazing too. Listening to it on Spotify right now.

DS1 is listening to this band a lot - ok the video isn't them but it is what got him into the group. Again not technicaly new but new to me and DS. We are going to see them in February.

worth watching even if you don't like the song.
