I’m awaiting an Autism assessment and DH self identifies as Autistic and DS is diagnosed with Autism.. Any DPS who are Autistic or self identify as Autistic, If you have DC who are Autistic themselves, do you have any advice on managing as DP and a family?

You dont manage DP. He does that. Hes an adult .
Im diagnosed autistic, as is kiddo. Divorcing a self diagnosed exH due to him weaponising self diagnosis for incompetence.

Do you have any advice on parenting please? Is it easier or harder for ND parents with ND children?

Surely nothing about how you’re currently managing will actually change upon diagnosis?

If you think you are ND and you have a child, then you must know if you find it hard? I'm not sure what it is that you're actually asking?

All of us are ND in our house. I'm not sure it's harder or easier. We all have different strengths and weaknesses, just like NT families.

I think that making sure we don't assume how each other thinks is necessary but difficult.
