I am the mother of a three-year-old boy with SMA type 1. I would like to share my experiences and learn more about SMA and help other families with children with this condition or similar

Are you in the UK? If so, the charity SMA UK is an invaluable resource for individuals with SMA and their families. They have a WhatsApp group for parents (and another for grandparents), provide a monthly newsletter and organise community events. See www.smauk.org.uk, especially the community networks section.
