Mobile incoming calls only

Hi all,is there a SIM I can buy my mum who is 90,which only accepts incoming calls only?

Could you just get a normal SIM and not top it up? You might have to top up a minimum amount of say £5 every 6 months or so to keep it active but you could just download a data test file and it will be immediately used up.

Or are you worried about emergency calls? The Alzheimer's store has some actual phones designed for this but I'm unsure if a SIM with only incoming calls is available. You might be better off calling around different network providers and just asking them if they can put a block on a SIM card their end.
