Need some advice please? I have a 10 year history of l4/5 disc herniation. Maybe 4 episodes of Leg and back pain which takes 6 to 9 months to heal. I ended up having a microdiscectomy in aug 2023. Great result. Fell pregnant for the first time 2 months later with no issues during pregnancy. Fast forward to baby being 4 months and I have reherniated my l4/5 confirmed on mri, completely compressed left nerve. Ha ent been able to pick the baby up since December but luckily my OH has been helping as have family
Had a nerve block which has started to wear off. My question is, has anyone had a 2nd microdiscectomy and had good results and ho2 did ypu manage with a baby and baring weight?
