Best floor covering for wheeled walking aid

My FIL uses a mobility aid trolley issued by the NHS to get around his flat. The existing laminate floors need replacing. What would be the best non slip floor covering to get for someone using a wheeled walking aid?

Look at contract flooring of the type used in hospitals / care homes etc. I have used Altro Aquarius in our bathrooms and kitchen. It does need specialist fitting though, but it's good. https://www.altro.com/uk/products/altro-aquarius

Our Altro Aquarius safety flooring is ideal for both wet and dry environments. Great reputation for it's durable and slip-resistant properties.

Thank you for this advice. Much appreciated.

My DM used a similar aide and DF was a full time wheelchair user. Anything but carpet works as effective flooring. Laminate is great except if it is likely to get wet a lot, Lino is also fine. If nonslip is an essential feature then as above contract flooring is best. If you contact the OT who arranged the wheeler they should be able to advise.

Vinyl floor

You can get Lino that looks like wood

You'd never know the difference really if you're looking for a laminate wood look
