struggle in a small school

Hello
My DD is in a very small school (less then 20 pupils).
I am finding the school difficult, due to constant Parental council meeting about fundraising, charity, school events ets. Parents meet twice at week at least. Mostly meetings in the café with kids after school or without kids during the school hours. I find it draining as I have disability and very often I am in a big pain. However, my illness is invisible, people do not see the pain. Also I have a social anxiety and it is very hard for me to be there without DH. Me and DH feel that we had been judged for doing little or not attending the meetings. (DH works full time, and he needs to help me at home as well).
I wonder if there are other mums with disabilities who have similar problem, what do you do?
Also, since DD's best friend left, she is unhappy in school as well. She says that no one wants to play with her. In the past there were 4 girls in her class. 2 and 2 plaid together, and now DD is odd one.
Any thoughts what could be done about it.

Thanks.
