I have been receiving DLA since 2022 (middle rate) and I reported it directly in my uc accound but not in the correct place. This means I was not aware of the child element on UC. On a call last week with a UC agent regarding my change in circumstances I mentioned that I have been receiving DLA and the agent asked me since when I told her and she helped me report it in the correct place. It was Wednesday last week and the next day I got a message that my child information had been verified. And today, Monday, I received my backdated. I was really surprised at how quickly it happened. I spent the whole week reading people's queries and solutions here and everyone was complaining about how long it took to get backdated. In total it took me 4 business days to get everything.
