I've got cancer not just one but 3 and one has spread from its primary sight and just finished radiotherapy now suffering with lymphodema. My granddaughter is in care but from birth we have been the only ones in her life and informed SS as soon as we started to find out i had cancer and that my prognosis isnt good their first response was can i prove it, they set visiting times day for a week day and I couldn't do it because understating radiotherapy but SS unwilling to change quoting date and contingency video contact as if a binding contract. So we had no contact (we only get 4 a yr) then contact for this month was down as 18th Aug and Drayton Manor but Foster carer went and booked a holiday now SS have decided (as I had to have a sit down during shopping with grand daughter) that I'm not fit enough so want to change venue and date, so asked them to give me the contact we missed as if its a contract for us it should be a contract with Foster carers and SS and said I will compromise on date and venue if given that visit back but they have refused so I have said then we are not prepared to compromise and its Drayton Manor on the 26th Aug so we probably won't get a visit at all. Are we being unreasonable?
