Diagnosis and insurance

Hello, how does having a diagnosis of ASD on your medical record change things such as life insurance, holiday insurance, car insurance and private health care and also do i need to inform my current or future employer about it?
These worries are holding me back from seeking a diagnosis. I wish I could keep the diagnosis to myself and inform people on a need to know basis really.
Any advice appreciated

I’m curious too. I never declared for
Holiday insurance as it only asked about preexisting medical conditions and ASD isn’t medical in the same way asthma or even depression is.

I do not declare for car insurance as not relevant
I do declare for work and sometimes I think this does hold me back because as much as people say it is not allowed discrimination is actually rife!
Not sure about holiday insurance, it been a long time since holiday, but I have travelled alone on tours and use their insurance and always mention to them as I do sometimes need some support but generally I find most people are nice. I have never been charged more anyway
I do not have private medical care or private life insurance
