Hello, looking for any mums out there who have fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome or similar and their experiences trying to conceive and pregnancy. Mainly looking for medication advice but anything would be valuable!

Thank you in advance, FibroV

@FibroV hey! How did u get on xx

I carried on with all of mine - pregabalin, duloxetine, codeine, ibuprofen, oramorph, fentanyl etc. I was under a consultant and had a section at 33 weeks. Babe did need monitoring for withdrawal from the fentanyl which was mild twitches off and on for 72 hours or so. Continued all meds through breastfeeding.

I did sleep through my pregnancy. Hyperemesis is not fun in your sleep. It took a while to build myself back up afterwards but I was anaemic and had blood transfusions before my section, during and for about a week after.

Ask your midwife or GP if you aren't yet pregnant to check your medications and ask about a referral to a consultant ad soon as you are.

If you want to ask anything else feel free to ask.

Good luck
