I have ASD and really struggle with eating. I lose my appetite very easily and can't eat large portions. It's less because of appetite and more that I can't deal with a lot of stuff on my plate.
I really struggle with healthy food. I eat a lot of junk food - take away sandwiches and crisps mostly. I really want to be healthy but I struggle with the textures and smells - especially with fruit.
I am slim but I really want to be more healthy and just don't know what to do. I find it hard to talk about in real life because I find it embarrassing. I really like soup and that is a good way to be healthy as I just blitz vegetables and stick together - but i can't live on just that.
I find cooking so overwhelming and have a barrier up. I just want some advice?
