ASD and shaking

Does anyone else get this? Sometimes in social situations, I start shaking uncontrollably - almost like I am freezing cold. My teeth can chatter and everything. I can cover it up pretty well, but I can't make it stop. Have never mentioned it to anyone before!

Thinking about it I've had it on odd occasions but mostly in a situation where it's feasible that I may have been cold so I never connected it to ASD.

It sounds like an expression of anxiety. My DD does it when she is very anxious about going into a situation.

I think it is an anxiety thing, but I've only noticed it in very specific social situations like sitting down for a meal, or chatting with friends. I don't get it when i am highly anxious, just in situations where I am supposed to be relaxed.
