I bought an atomiser thing from Amazon to put essential oils in. It gives off a water vapour mixed with the oil. I use lemon on a morning to get me going and then lavender or ylang ylang in the evenings.
It does seem to be working. Dh loves it and ordered two more - one for our bedroom and one for ds2.
It has coloured lights which change slowly and gently or you can just run it without any lights. It gives off negative ions, so the air is fresher in the room too.
I also bought some relaxing roll on sticks for us and some night time teabags.
Just thought I'd pass these ideas on for anyone who's stressed and fed up
