We've been asked by Psychologies magazine to find out your views on children accessing adult pornography on the internet.

The survey is open to everyone with at least one child of schoolgoing age (ie age 4-5+).

Everyone who completes the survey and adds their details at the end will be entered into a prize draw to win a gift basket of luxury pampering goodies worth £250 (contents include items such as Philosophy 'Be Somebody' bath and shower gel, Precision Chanel Intense Hydrating Milk, Oriens Eau De Parfum, Vie Toning Neck and Decolletage Gel and SkinCeuticals Eye Balm)

Thanks - and good luck!

It doesn't link anywhere to clarify what, in this instance, is pornographic material. Are we talking naked people? full on sex videos? (and taking that further - fetish and S&m?)

kerry - you can do the survey - there's an option for outside the UK on the region list

Re the definition of adult pornography - I believe they are after your views on any kind of adult pornography meant only really for adults.

Do add extra comments on this thread here if you want - they will be interested in all views....we can't ask about everything in the survey

Thanks

Done.. IMO survey needed a pornography access via friends mobiles and computers where parents haven't put filters on. Grrr.. Ds1 learnt a hell of a lot ( hard core ) in year 8 via friends!!!

TheArsenicCupCake · 29/05/2010 17:27

And just an add.. Having the sex talk with dc's is no issue for me personally... It did bite a bit when I had to explain about shagging horses!

Done it, but I need fell that I needed to explain a couple of my answers, as none of the options were exactly right for those particular questions.

there is a difference between what was traditionally seen as "adult pornography" and some of the hard-core stuff available online now, or so I am led to believe. So the questions could have been better phrased.

As for anyone not wanting the incentive - I am sure your child's school could make money from raffling it.

Valpollicella · 31/05/2010 00:03

surely pornography is meant for adults only anyway AnnMN?

Afaik there is no 'pornography lite'?

Yes there is P3 type stuff, but even so, surely that is still for adults?

Maisiethemorningsidecat · 31/05/2010 10:54

Done - but a very poor survey. Who on earth wrote it for them?

mamas12 · 31/05/2010 14:26

Actually you're right maisie.
I thought it felt 'unfinished' and a lot more questions remained to be asked or qualified a bit more.

Perhaps that's phase two.
