During pregnancy, women make decisions about lots of different aspects of their care. These decisions might include whether to have antenatal scans and tests, deciding where to give birth (eg home, birth centre, labour ward), whether to plan a vaginal or caesarean birth, and whether to choose or accept interventions such as membrane sweeps (to bring on labour) or induction of labour.
Mumsnet is running this survey together with Birthrights to find out more about what you think about how women make decisions about their maternity care during pregnancy and in the run-up to birth. We will use the results to inform our work on campaigning for women’s rights in maternity care.
This survey is open to women in the UK who have given birth at least once. If you have given birth more than once, please think about your most recent delivery when answering.
All who complete this survey will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £100 voucher for a store of their choice (from a list).
