Here at MNHQ, it's census time again.

This survey is open to everyone.

It's really useful to us to find out a bit more about the folk who use Mumsnet - and as a thank you for completing the census we have lined up some lovely prizes. Everyone who takes part in the survey and adds their details at the end will be entered into a prize draw where you could win one the following:

WIN! A Vorwerk Kobold VK200 with EB and SP heads (RRP £1,049)
WIN! A Tefal Cook4Me (RRP £269.99)
WIN: A £250 gift voucher for the store of your choice!

Census link: www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/H5XN2VX
For more details and T&Cs please click here

All responses are confidential and no individual details will be passed on to any third parties.

Thanks, and good luck!

Started acting up when I tried to submit.
A few “other” boxes that I had left blank were now ticked with “please leave a comment “ in red.

I get this on all MN surveys. I click submit and it tells me that I need to enter a comment for an other box I supposedly clicked.

So I check to make sure I haven’t accidentally pressed on any other boxes further down. I haven’t. But, when I hit submit again, it goes to the next question with an other option and tells me I need to enter information.

It’s very frustrating indeed.

Done.

specialsubject · 16/12/2017 14:12

44 questions and an insecure link - so didn't give details and gave a fake postcode. No idea what two of those prizes are.

Apparently there's more to mn than the talk boards. Who knew?

The vorwerk thingy is a hoover

I’d be delighted with either too.

WigglyWigglyWooo · 17/12/2017 15:53

Completed! Grin

lovewatchingrainfall · 17/12/2017 16:13

Done

Cavender · 18/12/2017 16:49

I’ve completed. Not sure why you had to “skip to question 36 if you live abroad” though I (and lots of expats) am entitled to vote in the U.K.

(I ignored that instruction and completed the voting questions)

chala86 · 18/12/2017 17:41

All done 😊

cardibach · 18/12/2017 22:03

Done it. One of the more boring surveys I’ve ever done - and I’m a member of YouGov. I don’t really want a cooking or ckean8ng thing either, but as a PP said, I could always sell it.

aurynne · 18/12/2017 23:39

How will MNetters who live abroad collect or use their prizes?

73kittycat73 · 19/12/2017 02:57

All done. Xmas Smile

auryanne it’s in the T&Cs, you need a UK address to have it delivered to (which I have)

Got bored halfway sorry!

lunar1 · 19/12/2017 19:21

Done, and the prizes sound fab!!

aurynne · 19/12/2017 21:08

Cavender, the problem is many MNetters abroad have no Uk address

TooSarcastic · 20/12/2017 00:29

Hopefully mine submitted as it kept telling me I was gender "other" rather than the "female" option I'd attempted to select. No definitive confirmation at the end

Cavender · 20/12/2017 01:30

In which case Aurynne I assume having read the T&Cs they complete the census but don’t enter the competition.

Done! Got pretty fed up by the page pulling my keyboard up every time I selected a button, though.

Spent a lot of time filling it in, but it returned me to 'do this survey' page, when impressed submit, asbif I hadn't started, and no confirmation email, so looks like 20 mins wasted!
Quite girly, wasn't it? Fashion, make up, cooking...what about less home maker-ish hobbies, interests, holidays which aren't necessarily with family every time?
Very vintage!

OnNaturesCourse · 21/12/2017 13:59

Would be good if it actually worked on mobile devices, ages wasted filling it in and then the form won't submit.
