Social services - good or bad, your views

What's your experiences of what should be a service that should be there to help you - the last thread I read that touched on this subject was heartwrenching - so give your views x

As a mum with 2 boys that I had to pit into care due to depression and no support. I have strong views on ss they are taking kids that can be placed in foster care for while until their parents have received support they cry out for and then return them to their rightful home. Checking up with family support I agree with bur putting kids up for adoption then banning the family from seeing them is out of order I think. That is my personal experience and opinion of them. Even after 6 years I am still fighting to even be able to speak to my boys now aged8 & 9 x

IME the ss process was an exercise in people justifying their jobs and at no point was I offered any support whatsoever.
