NOW CLOSED Fancy talking about your online habits to a marketing agency? You could win £50 in John Lewis or Space NK vouchers

Hello. A marketing agency has asked us if any Mumsnetters would be available to take part in a small research project - and, as it involves nice treats, we've said we'll pass their request on!

The agency are looking for five mums with children between the ages of 5 and 16. You must be an active member of Mumsnet and, preferably, also a user of Twitter and Facebook.

You'd need to be available to take part in a 15-20 min phone conversation this Thursday afternoon (Aug 12) or this Friday morning (Aug 13). You'll be asked about what drives you online, why you use Mumsnet and sites like it, and what sort of content you are looking for online.

All those who are chosen to take part will receive £50 worth of vouchers from
either Space NK or John Lewis (you get to choose).

If you'd be up for this, you'll need to post on this thread by Wednesday (August 11) at 3pm when we'll be closing the thread. We'll pick five names out of hat once the thread is closed.

Thanks - and good luck!

All five of you should now have mail!

Please get back to us ASAP or - because the interviews are tomorrow - we may have to pass your place and vouchers on to a reserve...

Thank you everyone for your enthusiasm. Sorry we couldn't pick you all.

Well done! I'm still waiting - what sort of thing did they ask?m(So i can sound clever)

MaryAnnSingleton · 12/08/2010 15:54

thanks - they asked about mumsnet and social networking and did i know of any other parenting sites (I mentioned netmums disparagingly) and i wittered on about my excesssive facebooking, blog and whatnot - don't worry,it's all very straightforward - just tell them what things appeal to you/what you are interested and what sites you might follow.
