We’re looking for Mumsnet users to test Stikins stick on name labels. The product test is open to all UK Mumsnet users who have at least one child at primary school.

Here’s what Stikins has to say: “Stikins name labels simply stick on and stay on; providing busy families with a name labelling solution that lets them save time and money by providing them with one pack of stick on name labels that can get all of their children’s school uniform and kit labelled safely and securely in seconds. A leading UK supplier of name labels, Stikins have been selling name labels since 2004 and currently have millions of labels in use across the UK.”

If selected to take part, you’ll be given a 100% off discount code for a pack of 60 name labels. You’ll then need to order the pack on the Stikins website and test the labels by adding them to your children’s clothing and kit and then washing labelled items. We’ll then ask you to give your feedback on a thread on Mumsnet as well as completing a short survey.

All selected testers who give their feedback will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 voucher for the store of their choice (from a list).

If you’re interested in taking part, click here to sign up.

Thanks and good luck!

Done! Fed up of finding name labels in the washing machine door seal after the first wash.

A PP mentions unpicking before donating. How would you go about removing these labels before passing clothes on?

I won't apply as I've trialled these before but just came in to say they are really good and still in place 2 maybe more years later on some items

Done, no ironing required would be the biggest plus!

Haven't applied as I have some in the house, they're absolutely brilliant though. DS has had the same one on his lunchbox all year and it's been through the dishwasher lots of times!

Oh gosh yes please. 4 at school here. I'm constantly naming stuff.

They constantly come off in the washing machine on a normal 30 degree cycle. They were a complete waste of money for me I’m afraid.

i would love to try these as i have used sew on ones that have unpicked and then lost school items.
I have an 8 year old who never leaves his jumper on so i am always having to replace it.
My 6 year old is also as bad.

I just wanted to comment that I genuinely use Stikins and they are absolutely brilliant.

I have two young boys and they totally trash their uniforms and they're forever in the wash. I tumble dry too - the stikins last until I recycle their uniforms.

I use them in shoes and wellingtons at the beginning of the school year whilst they get used to which new shoes are theirs etc, but they don't last long. Presumably a lot of sweating and rubbing but they last a few weeks.

I'd love to try these! And hopefully find a brand that the labels stay on without clogging up the washing machine 🙈.
My DS is 12 and DD is 8, so I've tried different brands before resulting to a black marker on the label. Thank you x
