Green Cola would love Mumsnet users to test their new Green Cola drink. This product test is open to all UK MNers who have at least one child. Selected testers will receive 4x330ml cans to try out.

Here is what Green Cola have to say: “Green Cola is a healthier AND tastier cola from an independent, British company. Why ‘Green’ Cola? Well, as well as having zero sugar and therefore no calories, we are 3 times green: 1) sweetened with natural Stevia from the green Stevia plant , 2) our caffeine is fully natural and extracted from green coffee beans, and 3) as a small, family company, we work hard to minimise our impact on the environment in everything we do.

Green Cola isn’t just healthier however, it also tastes even better than the leading no calorie brands – So you don’t have to sacrifice taste for health, making it an easy switch to make for you and your family.

We’re proud to be supporting Change4Life, Public Health England’s campaign to reduce childhood obesity through encouraging families to cut back on sugar by making simple swaps to healthier products – we share the Change4Life mission to offer healthier choices without compromising on taste!”

To find out more about Green Cola, watch this video:

Selected testers will be required to leave feedback on a thread on Mumsnet and complete a short survey. All who do so will be entered into a prize draw where 3 MNers will win a £100 voucher each of their choice (from a list).

If you would like to sign up, please click here.

Selected testers will be contacted via email.

Thanks and good luck

Signed up, sounds interesting im sure my children will enjoy it, if it can convince me i would be suprised i like original coca cola

EatsFartsAndLeaves · 10/04/2019 13:23

Oh OK, apologies! I just assumed it was the latest in the 500 new types of Coca-Cola that apparently exist now.

Nicki0505 · 10/04/2019 19:04

I would live to try the new green coke as we as a whike family love a cold glass of coke but all know its no good for us so try not to. This would be a great alternative.

PoohBearsHole · 10/04/2019 19:45

I stopped Diet Coke as it was doing terrible things to my stomach and the aspartame’s. But DC 2 is always desperate for it!

I’ve signed up as a friend was taking about it. I think it’s great to have a product that’s British made and healthier so I’m keen to see how it stands up!

boo2410 · 10/04/2019 20:31

I'm intrigued. I love coca cola and Pepsi so to try something that lots of people say tastes great, well, I really do need to see for myself.

DownRightAmazing · 10/04/2019 21:01

@EllieMumsnet is the idea that the child would test it? I'm a UK MNer with at least one child - but neither of mine are allowed pop yet. However I'd love to try it!

HotpotLawyer · 11/04/2019 04:36

I am interested in the natural sweeteners angle as I avoid all soft drinks now, since sugar tax led to everything having sweeteners.

I was also wondering what happened to Coca Cola’s green branded line. Coke Life, or something?

So good luck, British natural competitor!

EllieMumsnet · 11/04/2019 09:49

Hi @DownRightAmazing you can try it with your children but if they aren't allowed that's fine, it can be just fro the adults of the household Smile

Very interesting concept. Would love to try. We need to look closely at what we are putting in our bodies and green makes me keen.

TellMeItsNotTrue · 12/04/2019 01:06

Sounds interesting, I've not heard of it before but I'm definitely interested now that I have

claza93 · 15/04/2019 07:32

Sounds good to me!

jackstini · 15/04/2019 07:42

Would have been great if caffeine free version available
They are 2/3 of the way there though!

tumpymummy · 17/04/2019 08:32

Same as hotpotlawyer I've stopped buying most fizzy drinks now as I don't want the aspartame. I used to buy the green coca cola too but they've stopped making it..

GlitteryFluff · 02/05/2019 11:03

Mine have arrived today. Currently cooling in fridge.

MouseRatFan · 03/05/2019 13:38

MIne just arrived.

macblank · 04/05/2019 16:06

It was ok, bit like a old coke/cola/brown fizzy vegetable drink, that's been left a couple hours. That too me is how it tastes. Otherwise, in a glass no one would particularly know.

Will give full feedback on the form, when it becomes available.

Cooptime57 · 05/05/2019 16:06

im currently testing the Green Cola, it tastes just like the true Cola, but with no sugars and low in calories, the taste is 100%, i love the thought of it having no preservatives, the can itself is an easy to spot green & black so no mistaking picking up the wrong one. We all love a fizzy drink but this is definately the healthier option for everybody, i would well recommend :)

ThisMummyRocks · 07/05/2019 12:37

Mine arrived on Friday and I have to say I was really surprised with the taste! There wasn't that 'harsh' sugar taste afterwards. It was refreshing!
We love a good soft drink every now and again. I do worry about sugar content and we do buy diet versions of branded soft drinks. But this Green Coke slightly takes that worry away.

MouseRatFan · 07/05/2019 13:43

I really like it. Reminds me of cola ice pops!

cookiemonster66 · 08/05/2019 19:36

Oh I am loving it, please tell me where I can buy it, hope it does not cost the earth! I get bad side effects from usual sweeteners, so this is a godsend! please make it available in all supermarkets at a reasonable price! when is the survey dropping into our inboxes for feedback?

paddler78 · 09/05/2019 10:58

Mixed reviews in our house, children both liked it and thought it tasted just like 'proper' coke but husband thought it tasted too much like diet coke
