This is for the 10 testers who have been testing the Miele Complete C3 Total Solution Allergy Powerline vacuum cleaner.

Here’s what Miele say, “The Complete C3 Total Solution Allergy PowerLine has been designed to reduce the amount of dust and odours in the air, ideal for those who suffer from common pet and household allergies. This Complete C3 model features a HEPA 13 filter which retains up to 99.999% of dust and pollen from the air. This model boasts a range of features and controls that allow you to clean effectively with minimum effort. With a maximum power output of 1200W, you can replicate the performance of a 2000W model by utilising the clever AirTeQ floorhead, which has a 10% higher dust pickup than our standard floorhead. You can also make use of the Turbobrush and Hardfloor Twister brush supplied with the vacuum cleaner to achieve a deeper clean to reduce allergens in the home.”

Testers: We'll be asking you to add feedback twice - we'd like your first impressions now and we will add some more questions after you've had a little bit of time to test out your vacuum cleaner.

So, Miele would love to know:

  1. How old are your children and what are the allergies that your children suffer from?
  1. Do you, or any other adults in your household, suffer from any allergies? If so, what are these?
  1. What are your initial impressions of the Miele Complete C3 Total Solution Allergy Powerline vacuum cleaner?
  1. Please have a look inside the vacuum bag after the first use - are you surprised by how much has been picked up?

Please note: your anonymous comments may be used by Miele on their website and other marketing materials.

Thanks!

Since you've started using your Miele vacuum cleaner, do you find that you need to vacuum less?

I vacuum everyday regardless of need, it's habit and I find the house feels fresher and cleaner if it's been vacuumed.

Have you noticed and changes in your children's allergies since you started using your Miele vacuum cleaner?

Yes! I have found the sneezing is a lot, lot less in everyone, especially my youngest 3 children who suffer with hay fever and dust allergies, DP has been suffering a lot less too.

How have you found the Miele vacuum cleaner overall?

It's great, lightweight and it does all the vacuuming jobs in need to do in one product, I can do the carpets, hard floor, sofas and car without having to fetch different machines.

Is there anything in particular about the Miele vacuum cleaner that has impressed you?

The power and ability to make the carpets feel cleaner after each use and the onboard tools kept safe in the unit.

Would you recommend the Miele vacuum cleaner to other allergy sufferers? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes, I would, just because it works really well at getting into everything and removing dust/hair/dander etc.

Would you recommend it to your friends/family?

Yes, it's an all round great vacuum cleaner, light weight, Compact and powerful.

Since you’ve started using your Miele vacuum cleaner, do you find that you need to vacuum less?

Not the really messy bits downstairs, the hall, kitchen and living room attract dirt and mess so that needs doing every day really. Upstairs I don't feel the need to vaccum as often as the miele seems to do a thorough enough job to leave for a few days at a time.

  • Have you noticed any changes in your children’s allergies since you started using the Miele vacuum cleaner?

It's quite a short period to say for sure. Certainly she hasn't had any episodes of coughing and wheezing whilst we have been testing the vaccum. She often coughs through the night so this is fairly unusual in itself and I'm certainly hopeful this improvement persists.

  • How have you found the Miele vacuum cleaner overall?

I still like it very much. I'm still getting used to the difference in it from my old upright (occasionally I will go around corners and forget to pull it with me and come to an abrupt stop!) but overall I'd say it was lighter to push around and does a very good job.

  • Is there anything in particular about the Miele vacuum cleaner which impressed you?

I think it does a marvelous job on hard floors and I love how well made it feels.

  • Would you recommend the Miele vacuum cleaner to other allergy sufferers? If so, why? If not, why not?

Probably. As I said before I can't say for sure it has helped yet in terms of the filter, but I would certainly recommend it as a hoover that will clean the floors effectively and quickly. I feel very reassured that I have managed to clean the floors of dust as much as could be possible to help my child manage her allergy.

  • Would you recommend it to your friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes I would and have, it's powerful, lightweight and very well made - well worth the money.

  1. How old are your children and what are the allergies that your children suffer from?
I have one 1 year 11months old and 1 5 months old, so far the older one is allergic to aubergines. My hubby is allergic to shellfish and when it's dusty he sneezes a lot & his nose gets congested so think he's allergic to dust, I'm allergic to tea tree oil and coriander and my older child is allergic to aubergines

Since you’ve started using your Miele vacuum cleaner, do you find that you need to vacuum less?

No, unfortunately three children constantly shed all kinds!!

  • Have you noticed any changes in your children’s allergies since you started using the Miele vacuum cleaner?

The hay fever has been particularly bad recently so it is difficult to say. I do think that this cleaner is better at containing the dust it clears up - when using my old cleaner I felt it left a dusty smell in the air as if some was escaping.

  • How have you found the Miele vacuum cleaner overall?

Very good, it cleans excellently. I do find the turbo head best so don't know how I would feel having just the normal head.

  • Is there anything in particular about the Miele vacuum cleaner which impressed you?

The hard floor tool as excellent and really manoeuvrable, under tables and around edges for example.

  • Would you recommend the Miele vacuum cleaner to other allergy sufferers? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes I would. I think it is very effective at removing dust, and keeping it in the cleaner.

  • Would you recommend it to your friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes, allergies aside it is a great cleaner. Lightweight and easy to use. I love the low noise and ability to change the suction levels.

Cockbollocks · 16/07/2015 14:55

lottietiger · 16/07/2015 23:01

BuffaloCustardbath · 17/07/2015 16:16

I haven't received mine either.

SeahorseSid · 17/07/2015 18:35

  • Since you’ve started using your Miele vacuum cleaner, do you find that you need to vacuum less?
No, I still have to vacuum regularly due to having a cat, a toddler... and a husband!
  • Have you noticed any changes in your children’s allergies since you started using the Miele vacuum cleaner?
Yes, my little girl does seem to be a little less itchy and her eczema is less inflamed.
  • How have you found the Miele vacuum cleaner overall?
I really like how easy it is to manoeuvre and that the are lots of different. Attachments and heads to use for all of the different tasks I need it for. The bags are easy to use and change and the vacuum cleaner picks up a lot of dust.
  • Is there anything in particular about the Miele vacuum cleaner which impressed you?
I really liked the turbo head. It was very noisy but really made a difference when trying to vacuum hair from a carpet. It was much easier to push along the carpet and it picked up far more than I could see!
  • Would you recommend the Miele vacuum cleaner to other allergy sufferers? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes, I do think it has made a difference to my daughters eczema so I think it could also improve things for other allergy sufferers.
  • Would you recommend it to your friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes, I have found it to be very good at picking up dirt which is the main thing you need in a vacuum cleaner!

- Since you’ve started using your Miele vacuum cleaner, do you find that you need to vacuum less?

Not really, because I have a strict cleaning routine and my children create a lot of mess anyways.

- Have you noticed any changes in your children’s allergies since you started using the Miele vacuum cleaner?

I sneeze less while vacuuming which implies that this vacuum cleaner is good at containing dust. It is too early to correlate the use of this vacuum cleaner with the change in allergies, but I must admit that there is a general lessening of sneezing in our household.

- How have you found the Miele vacuum cleaner overall?

It is not very different from my other vacuum cleaner, Miele Eco Line. I am very satisfied with the performance - fantastic for carpets, equally impressive on linoleum and tiled kitchen floor, easy to manoeuvre, lot of control on suction which is handy for different surfaces. I have always trusted Miele vacuum cleaners for managing my children's allergies.

- Is there anything in particular about the Miele vacuum cleaner which impressed you?

The carpet cleaning is exceptional and better than any other vacuum cleaner I have ever used.

- Would you recommend the Miele vacuum cleaner to other allergy sufferers? If so, why? If not, why not?

Definitely recommend as I am beginning to see some improvements in the allergies in my family.

- Would you recommend it to your friends/family? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes, because it is superb at cleaning carpets, the dust is neatly contained in the dust bags and it does not lose much suction as the bag fills up.

Titsalinabumsquash · 25/07/2015 16:14

No bags here, does anyone know where I can order some from and how much they are?

mrstiggy · 29/07/2015 14:14

Yes mine is nearly full already, doesn't suprise me with my kids. Grin I'll need to buy some more quickly if they don't turn up soon.

lottietiger · 03/08/2015 20:29

My bag is full.. Il guess I'll buy some as I do t think they are going to turn up :(

Titsalinabumsquash · 04/08/2015 09:26

I got some from Currys in the end. They weren't that expensive.

mrstiggy · 04/08/2015 16:11

I got mine online, think it was about a tenner including delivery. I couldn't wait any longer either as it was pretty much full.
