Good overall, nice packaging and I liked that it makes me feel more confident about taking care of my kids teeth.

Honestly, they weren't keen and I had to persuade them - they didn't like the flavour or texture which they thought was grainy. We had a dentist appointment coming up that week so I told them if they used it the dentist would be pleased and that did the trick!

Yes, I would, though perhaps not for fussy kids like mine!!

I liked the colour of the packaging, the purple, and the format it came in. Initially on first use, it tasted sweet but that was probably because i am used to quite bland toothpastes as it became normal after regular use and i hardly noticed.

Yes i would replace if it was a good price and not too expensive to the rest, I felt my teeth got a really thorough clean by using this toothpaste and they felt fresh for hours afterwards.

My daughter loved having her own toothpaste as we tend to use the same regular one together. She loves purple so it was perfect in her eyes!! She didnt say much about the taste or texture but was very happy to use it, so i take that as a very good sign!

Yes i would recommend, especially to parents that are worried about decay and cavities and want a super fresh minty taste and a good clean to their teeth!

My dd thought it was too minty. She liked the colourful tube & that it looked the same as my toothpaste.

I would but I would say it's quite a strong minty flavour.

My DD and I both like it - the taste is good, not too strong, and the texture is quite pleasant.

Possibly - depending on the price. Also I usually use a toothpaste for sensitive teeth, so I will have to see if my tooth sensitivity comes back after using the Colgate for a while.

DD likes the taste, and is very taken with the colour of the tube and box.

Funky packaging, nice mint taste. The children (2yo and 5yo) didn't notice the difference from their usual toothpaste, which was great as they always make a fuss if I give them my toothpaste by mistake.

Yes I would if it was a similar price. Having experienced dental problems myself, I want my kids to have the best dental care we can afford.

The main thing for me was that they didn't make a fuss or seem to notice the difference from their usual toothpaste. As they're fussy little things I wasn't going to point it out! DS saw the box though and asked what it was as it was quite eye-catching.

Q1. What was your overall impression of Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ toothpaste?

I quite liked it. I really liked the fact it left my teeth feeling really clean and my mouth felt a lot fresher after use. I wasn't that keen on the flavour though it seemed a bit bland but I am quite fussy when it comes to toothpastes. My husband didn't make any comment on the taste of the paste. My four year old really didn't like the flavour of the childrens paste but that is not unusual for him as he currently seems to prefer the non minty childrens toothpastes.

Q2. Would you replace your regular toothpaste with Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ toothpaste?

I'm doubtful to be honest. We tend to have a regular brand that we purchase and are happy with but I do only purchase it if I can find it on offer as it can be expensive. If the Colgate were to be on offer at a price which is lower to our usual brand I may consider it but there would also be other toothpastes I would consider alongside it.

DS liked the packaging but I'm afraid that was about it. He really didn't like the taste of it and it took a lot of bribing to get him to try using it after a couple of brushes. If it were available in a non minty flavour I would possibly try him again with it as the Sugar Acid Neutraliser would be a great benefit for his dental health.

DD was too young to use the toothpaste as she is only 16 months old.

If your child likes minty flavoured toothpaste I would probably say yes as the Sugar Acid Neutraliser would be good for most children. However it is hard to make comment on whether this actually works after trying the product for such a short space of time.

It wasn't the best tasting toothpaste I've ever tried, but it wasn't bad. My mouth felt very clean afterwards, so I was pleased.

Probably not at full price, but I would buy it if it were on offer (like all other toothpaste I buy, to be honest).

DS liked the colours of the packaging and liked that it matched the adult one so he could 'be a grown up' too.

I liked the packaging, the purple was quite different from others on the market and looked appealing.

Possibly - I really like the fact that it is the only one to neutralise sugar which is a concern of mine. However I have sensitive teeth so it'd be good if there was a version for sensitive teeth too. Also I wasn't 100% on the taste, it wasn't my favourite tasting toothpaste.

She liked the packaging and it foamed up well. She wasn't too keen on the taste though - she prefers a more neutral taste. It wasn't awful and she would use it though if reminded.

yes definitely, it seems to be a really good product to combat tooth decay.

We liked the purple packaging (shallow!) but I find screw lids really annoying when I've got two toothbrushes in my hand. The flavour was fine we don't mind as long as it doesn't burn your mouth.

I generally only buy whatever is on offer but for the children will likely continue to use this.

Dd definitely liked the packaging. Ds couldn't care less (Ds is only two so wasn't supposed to use it)

I liked that the packaging of the toothpastes as it looked qood quality and expensive. The actual product was very good also and it had a lovely smooth feeling and produced a lot of foam. It seemed to clean my teeth very well and left a fresh, clean feel in my mouth.

Yes I would as I feel it offers an advantage over other toothpastes and I liked how it cleaned. It is more pricy than my usual toothpaste but I needed to use less everytime I brushed so it would work out about the same.

I told my little boy I had a 'new' toothpaste for him. he liked the fact that it looked the same as mummy and daddys as he is in a 'feeling grown up' stage even though he is 3! He liked using it and commented on more bubbles/foam. He has a sweet tooth so I feel happier using this toothpaste as it helps protest his little teeth.

Yes, my son preferred it to others he has used.

Very good. Nice packaging, tastes nice and feels like my teeth are cleaner with this toothpaste vs. my usual one (Colgate total). To me, it seems a less strong taste.

If the price wasn't too much more than my usual one, then yes.

Liked the concept and packaging. The texture of the toothpaste and flavour were pleasant, I noticed my teeth felt very clean.

Yes, although it is more expensive than my usual toothpaste I do like the protection it offers.

Since getting this toothpaste my 4yr old daughter no longer complains when brushing her teeth. I notice it foams less than other pastes which seems to help. They both like the flavour too.

The kids didn't like the flavour or the texture and preferred their current toothpaste, but this has more benefits.

Yes, I would, if the price was right.

My husband and I along with our two DC's have used the Colgate Max Cavity Protectuon toothpaste for a full week today and we are absolutely sold to the product. We loved the packaging and colours but most importantly we were drawn to the taste and texture and the fresh after taste after using the toothpaste. My daughter is drawn to the "purple toothpaste" which is what it's called in our house these days.

Unusual colours in packaging ( not the same white and red always used ),great graphics and good size for adults and children. We really liked the taste, the after taste and the freshness this toothpaste brings.

Absolutely. Our main reason for this is the interest from children who refuse to use other toothpastes now as they are stronger and more minty. From an adults pout of view we have seen a visible difference in our teeth and overall feeling ans would therefore switch .

My son loves the taste and texture as he is 8 and all other toothpastes for his age are more stronger flavoured. My daughter, 6, loved it too. she loved the taste of it and i noticed her breath was a lot fresher after use than after the toothpaste she had been using before. She absolutely loves the colours used in packaging.

Q4. Would you recommend Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ to other parents?

I already have . We had a discussion about it in the last school mums coffee morning as my children loved the toothpaste and now their friends are trying it out already . The toothpaste was also an important part of the sleepover kit at a friends house so alreays very popular ! Seems like my work colleagues would also give it a try.

Q1. What was your overall impression of Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ toothpaste?

I liked the packaging, the purple was different and attractive to the eye compared the other toothpastes. It gave my teeth a smooth, clean feeling and had a pleasantly minty, but not overpowering, taste. It was reassuring to know that it would be protecting my teeth from the acids in my diet, and that eating healthy fruit wouldn't be damaging my teeth.

Yes, when the tester runs out, I would definitely buy it again.

DS3 liked the packaging too, the shiny purple looked grown up, which he liked. He was happy when I told him that it would make Mr Dentist happy!

I would - it's a great tool for parents to use to combat the harmful acids in out diet whilst eating healthier diets. It's a pleasant tasting toothpaste and kept my mouth feeling clean, I was very pleased.

My DS did find the minty flavour of the toothpaste quite strong, and did complain at first, but he did get used to it after a few days. I also felt the 'kids' label on the toothpaste could have been bigger to differentiate between the two.

My 3 year old was very excited when he saw the kids' one next to the adults' one. He wanted to open the box and try it straightaway. I think he liked that it looked very similar to the grown up one.

Yes, definitely.

Q1. What was your overall impression of Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ toothpaste?

We really liked it. We liked the packaging and the charts and the information that came with it. I'd not known what causes the white spots that sometimes appear on teeth so it was useful to find out they were the early signs of enamel damage. Mostly thought I loved how incredible clean my teeth felt after using it, really smooth just like I had recently visited the hygienist.

Yes. We try to encourage our children to eat fruit but are aware of it's high sugar content so anything we can do to offset any potential damage to their teeth is to be embraced!

They liked it and wanted to open the boxes straight away, they were quite annoyed when I made them use up their old toothpaste first so the packaging must have been attractive too them. They told me they liked the minty taste and would like minty sweets that tasted the same.

Yes, especially if they mentioned they had a child who ate a lot of fruit.

Q1 my overall impression of the toothpaste was good. My teeth felt cleaner through the day and certainly less sugar. Packaging was good and loved the fact the children's was just a mini version of the adults.

Q2 I would definitely use again but I never tend to stick to the same toothpaste all the time.

Q3 my DC loved the fact the box was purple and it looked liked mummy's. Unfortunately that was all she liked though and we have not been able to get her to use the toothpaste since the first try.

Q4 yes, even though my dc didn't like it, I think older children would definitely benefit from it.

Overall we really liked it. DP and I have been using it for a week now and have no plans to return to our usual toothpaste. I like the slightly thicker consistency. It has a refreshing, not overpowering, minty taste.

As I said before, we'll continue to use it until the tube is finished. I would probably buy it again, definitely if it was on offer.

They all loved the stand up tube. DD (6) wants to carry on using it but DS1 and DS2 (8 and 6) want to return to their respective favourites. Both said it was too foamy but they liked the taste.

Overall I was pleased with it, the packaging stands out and my mouth feels clean. I wasn't a fan of the taste though I prefer something properly minty.

For myself no I wouldn't I didn't like it enough, but for the children I i think I would replace their regular toothpaste with this one.

They liked the "cool purple pack" they liked the taste and said it was as good as their usual toothpaste, I thought it seemed a bit thick when I put it on the younger ones toothbrush. They like the chart and the smiley faces too.

Possibly but as others have said its going to be hard to tell if it works, ds1 has a few tooth problems but it will be good to see if this stops things/improves things.
If they could improve the minty flavour then I might be more tempted.
