This feedback thread is for the 250 Mumsnetters, who have participated in the Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ toothpaste product test with their DCs.

Here’s what Colgate says: “Did you know that 84% of children and all adults suffer from cavities at some point in their life*?

“Cavities, also known as tooth decay, are the most common chronic disease on the planet.
But cavities are preventable and this is why Colgate® has created a breakthrough new anti-cavity toothpaste called Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid NeutraliserTM.

“Providing close to double protection against early decay**, Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection is the first and only toothpaste to contain Sugar Acid NeutraliserTM technology, that goes beyond the protection of fluoride, neutralising sugar acids in plaque – the #1 cause of cavities.

“Colgate’s Head of Scientific Affairs, Foti Panagakos comments:
“More and more we’re aware of the increasing levels of sugar in our diets and the negative impact this has on our health. The need for a toothpaste with built in Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ technology has never been so urgent. Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ will have a tremendous impact on the oral health of the nation.””

** Toothpaste with fluoride alone reduced by 32%

Q1. What was your overall impression of Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ toothpaste?

I liked the overall look and colour of the packaging and tube. I also like the way the tube stands up on its lid as we already have 3 different kinds of toothpaste and 4 brushes on the back of the sink so space is a premium!
I personally liked the texture and slightly aniseedy taste of the toothpaste but DD (4) thought the kid's version tasted too minty. She does normally have a berry flavoured paste though.
Dental health is a real worry of mine due to the fact that at 4, DD would rather be doing anything other than brushing her teeth carefully, and also the amount of fruit that she eats so I really liked the idea of a sugar neutraliser in her toothpaste.

Q2. Would you replace your regular toothpaste with Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ toothpaste?

Due to the vast difference in cost between it and our usual toothpaste, and the fact that apart from the first time, I couldn't get DD to use it, I would have to say no.

Q3. What did your DCs like most about Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ Kids toothpaste (such as taste, texture, packaging)?

She liked the colour of the packaging and the brushing chart which came with it.

Q4. Would you recommend Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ to other parents?

If it came up in conversation, I would.

Helish · 24/03/2015 22:07

Q1. What was your overall impression of Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ toothpaste?

I liked the packaging and felt it stood out from all the other brands on the shelf. Quite liked the minty taste, it's stronger than a lot of the other brands we used and I liked the sugar-reducing aspect of it.

Q2. Would you replace your regular toothpaste with Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ toothpaste?

It would depend on the price difference. If it wasn't too big a difference I would choose this one

Q3. What did your DCs like most about Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ Kids toothpaste (such as taste, texture, packaging)?

DS (aged 3) loved the packaging but was disappointed that the toothpaste was white inside. His usual brand is stripes which he loves. The mint was far too strong for him and after a couple of days he refused to use it as it was 'too spicy'

Q4. Would you recommend Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ to other parents?

Yes, but not to younger children as the flavour is too strong for them

NoodieRoodie · 24/03/2015 22:49

Q1. What was your overall impression of Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ toothpaste?

I liked it. I liked that the fact that the packaging was purple rather than the standard blue/green that always seems to be used

Q2. Would you replace your regular toothpaste with Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ toothpaste?

Probably not as I tend to buy whatever's on offer

Q3. What did your DCs like most about Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ Kids toothpaste (such as taste, texture, packaging)?

My DCs are a little young to appreciate packaging (3 and 1) but both enjoyed the taste and were happy to use it.

Q4. Would you recommend Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ to other parents?

Possibly, I'd recommend it as a minty toothpaste that's mild enough tasting for the DC

scoper71 · 24/03/2015 23:13

Q1. What was your overall impression of Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ toothpaste?

Overall I like it, and I love the taste - hint of aniseed. Yum!

Q2. Would you replace your regular toothpaste with Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ toothpaste?

No, purely because I need a Sensitive toothpaste to keep my teeth from sending me to a padded cell. If they made a sensitive version yes I would.

Q3. What did your DCs like most about Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ Kids toothpaste (such as taste, texture, packaging)?

My DD was impressed with the chart but incensed it didn't come with stickers. She loved the fact it's the same as Mummy's just in a small person sized tube. Still hasn't convinced her to clean her teeth for 2 mins twice a day without throwing a strop though. Beast.

Q4. Would you recommend Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ to other parents?

Yes, my only real issue with it is the low quality of the tube - it was already bashed up before we even opened the box. Its far too squishy. For adults anyway.

MimsyBorogroves · 24/03/2015 23:30

Q1. What was your overall impression of Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ toothpaste?

At first I was a bit unsure about the taste - it seemed very mild and very thick compared to our usual Colgate toothpaste and I didn't know what my youngest DS in particular would make of it! I'm now on my 4th day of using it, however, and I'm finding the taste much more minty.

I love how clean it makes my teeth feel - really smooth and shiny and fresh, so it's definitely doing something!

Q2. Would you replace your regular toothpaste with Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ toothpaste?
I'd definitely consider it, especially if it was on offer, though I wouldn't buy a separate children's toothpaste as the ingredients are exactly the same - the only difference seems to be the size of the tube and the fact one has "kids" written on the side - can anyone else confirm this for me?

Q3. What did your DCs like most about Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ Kids toothpaste (such as taste, texture, packaging)?
Both of my sons really liked the taste and the purple colour of the packaging. My youngest (3) said it was "shiny" and the eldest (6) said "it's nice and minty. It feels nice in my mouth, and it looks really cool too"

Q4. Would you recommend Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ to other parents?
Yes, for the point of the sugar acid neutraliser. It's good to know something like this is on the market for added peace of mind (though the proof will obviously be when we visit the dentist...)

Miaow1234 · 25/03/2015 08:37

Q1. I like the idea around the new product and something that would be great for kids. I didn't like the taste as used to paste being very minty and this wasn't, but I could live with that!
Q2. Yes I would buy definitely for a child, would depend on price for myself.
Q3. My daughter liked as it isn't a strong taste like some other brands. She likes the packaging as colourful but wants more stars on!
Q4. Yes would recommend.

annielewis · 25/03/2015 08:38

Q1. What was your overall impression of Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ toothpaste?

I like the purple colour scheme. The taste for me was fine - a little less minty than our usual but DH didn't like it. He said it was too mild tasting for him and too 'pasty and thick feeling' and his mouth didn't feel as clean, as though there was still a residue from the toothpaste. I didn't find this to be a problem.

Q2. Would you replace your regular toothpaste with Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ toothpaste?

I would have to say no at the moment for the adult one unless Dh gets used to it (entirely possible, he's not good at changes..)

Q3. What did your DCs like most about Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ Kids toothpaste (such as taste, texture, packaging)?

My eldest (4.5) liked the packaging because it looks grown up and its purple and shiny. The kids didn't like the taste of it - too minty for them apparently

Q4. Would you recommend Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ to other parents?

Yes. I really like the concept of it and will persevere with it with the kids - I think dental health is so important and it just takes time to get used to new products sometimes.

FourAndDone · 25/03/2015 09:01
  1. What was your overall impression of Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ toothpaste?

Nice flavour and left me with a nice, fresh and clean feeling.

Q2. Would you replace your regular toothpaste with Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ toothpaste?

Yes if it was less than £2.50 per tube.

Q3. What did your DCs like most about Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ Kids toothpaste (such as taste, texture, packaging)?

The taste and texture were fine, nice mild flavour. There favourite bit was the smilie chart. They really enjoyed filling it in.

  1. Would you recommend Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ to other parents?

Yes, again if it wasn't overly expensive.

Emrob86 · 25/03/2015 09:25

Q1. What was your overall impression of Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ toothpaste?

I liked it. The thickness is really nice and makes the toothpaste stay in contact with your teeth for longer.

Q2. Would you replace your regular toothpaste with Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ toothpaste?

Yes, I would. But I would prefer the adult one to have a stronger mint taste.

Q3. What did your DCs like most about Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ Kids toothpaste (such as taste, texture, packaging)?

The kids loved that it looked like a grownup toothpaste and the loved the mild taste.

Q4. Would you recommend Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ to other parents?

Yes definitely, it's so important to protect our children's teeth.

Cambam2010 · 25/03/2015 09:27

Q1. What was your overall impression of Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ toothpaste? I liked the size and shape of the tube. I like styles that stand up on the lid and do not get messy around the opening. I found the flavour slightly weird - to me it had an almost aniseed flavour but it wasn't unpleasant. I did feel that it left my teeth feeling clean and my mouth refreshed.

Q2. Would you replace your regular toothpaste with Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ toothpaste? I would definitely consider it if it was on offer. My budget is tight and at full price this would be an expensive buy for us, especially having to buy for different ages within the family

Q3. What did your DCs like most about Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ Kids toothpaste (such as taste, texture, packaging)? My DS (4) found the mintyness slightly too strong but he is used to a Colgate 3-6 years one that has an almost bubblegum flavour to it. He enjoyed the chart, but would have preferred stickers to colouring in

Q4. Would you recommend Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ to other parents? I would as I feel that it is a better toothpaste for children then the non-minty flavoured ones and is a step towards getting them using mainstream minty adult toothpastes.

daisydaisy75 · 25/03/2015 09:43

Thank you samples.:)
I liked taste - not too minty, little sweet. Nice thick foam which I also liked. Packaging good too. I will continiue to use it as I drink acidy drinks quite often, especially in the summer. Fruits contain lots of acid so it is crucial to prevent teeth from decay.
My daughter Vanessa likes very sweet taste, but she liked it too.
Overall I will recommend to other mums.

Q1. What was your overall impression of Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ toothpaste?

I liked it. The packaging is a bit different from usual, and it tastes fine. The packaging of the children's toothpaste is practically identical to the adult, so I think it might be hard to distinguish between them if you were in a rush at the supermarket etc (although given that they're exactly the same apart from the flavour I don't suppose this really matters!).

Q2. Would you replace your regular toothpaste with Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ toothpaste?

Yes, if it was on offer. I don't have a 'regular' toothpaste, I tend to buy whatever is on offer when I need some.

Q3. What did your DCs like most about Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ Kids toothpaste (such as taste, texture, packaging)?

They weren't initially too keen on the flavour because recently they've been using a fruity flavoured toothpaste, but we've perservered because on our last visit the dentist told us to just get them using adult toothpaste as there was no need for a specific children's one. Since the adult and child toothpaste have the same fluoride content, I assume the only real difference is the taste? I see it as a bit of a con to get parents to buy lots of different toothpastes - surely much easier for everyone to use the same tube?! We haven't really used the charts because there's nowhere sensible to have them in the bathroom and they forget about it as soon as their teeth are done. Much more useful, I think, would be a timer.

Q4. Would you recommend Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ to other parents?

I would recommend it over the fruity flavoured ones as a way to transition to adult toothpaste.

TengoSueno · 25/03/2015 10:15

Q1. What was your overall impression of Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ toothpaste?

We liked the box. It stands out from our other toothpastes. The images show why it is different and my DCs enjoyed reading about sugars attacking teeth.

Q2. Would you replace your regular toothpaste with Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ toothpaste?

Maybe. I normally buy either regular Colgate or Aquafresh whatever is on special really. We are not brand loyal. My DS preferred this toothpaste though so if it incentivises him to brush then I will buy it.

Q3. What did your DCs like most about Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ Kids toothpaste (such as taste, texture, packaging)?

My DS said it wasn't as spicy as his normal toothpaste. He dislikes anything too minty and he was OK with this variety. I thought the texture was a bit thicker than normal but my DH insists that is just me being odd. I liked how the packaging differentiated itself from the other brands. It makes a change on the shelf.

Q4. Would you recommend Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ to other parents?

Sure. My DCs are both more teeth aware now. They enjoy ticking off their brushes on the chart. I liked the simple poster included showing then why brushing is important after all foods. Before my DS would moan about not eating sweeties etc but now he understands that it doesn't matter.

frutilla · 25/03/2015 11:24

Q1. What was your overall impression of Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ toothpaste?
The packaging is nice, I did just see some other purple brand in Boots so it must be the current fashion. Agree with another mnetter about having a flip-top lid for the kids one. Quite expensive but have seen it on half price offer and would buy at the reduced price. Taste was ok, more medical than regular toothpaste. I would probs use it part time as I do like a nice minty aftertaste.
So far the best thing I noticed was that in the morning my breath was still fresh (ish!) which seems to mean it's doing the trick.

Q2. Would you replace your regular toothpaste with Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ toothpaste?
I like to alternate, and do like the sensitive tooth enamel protect kind so would use it part time. I also sometimes like to use a regular minty fresh one.

Q3. What did your DCs like most about Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ Kids toothpaste (such as taste, texture, packaging)?
My 6 year old said he liked it. He liked the chart it came with and the colour of the tube and said it tasted nice. My 4 year old liked the look of it and the chart but said it was too spicy. He normally has a fruit or bubblegum flavour toothpaste (Eugh!)
I persuaded him to perservere, explaining about the sugar acids and he continued brushing.

Q4. Would you recommend Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ to other parents?
We have only used it a couple of times so it's early days. I would recommend if they continue with it but if they refuse and ask to go back to the fruit ones then maybe not. I think it would be good to do this in a fruit child friendly flavour.

kod88 · 25/03/2015 13:59

Q1. What was your overall impression of Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ toothpaste?

I really liked it. I like the protection it gives as I have a fussy toddler and sometimes I just have to feed him whatever he will take so it's great to know there is a toothpaste that can help protect his teeth. I also like that fact that the adults and children were similar packaging as I could encourage my wee boy by saying 'look mummy is using the same'

Q2. Would you replace your regular toothpaste with Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ toothpaste?

I think I will. I really like what it offers.

Q3. What did your DCs like most about Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ Kids toothpaste (such as taste, texture, packaging)?

My wee boy liked the taste as it was very mild. I'm not sure if he liked the texture. The colouring was a good fun choice.

Q4. Would you recommend Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ to other parents?

Yes definitely. I think it's a brilliant product. With many benefits.

asuwere · 25/03/2015 15:58

I was discussing this with DH last night. Is sugar acid neutraliser actually necessary in toothpaste? Given that advice is you shouldn't brush your teeth for at least an hour after eating, would most of the sugar not be naturally neutralised already by your saliva? (more than prepared to be told I'm wrong on that assumption :))

Moogdroog · 25/03/2015 16:55

Q1. What was your overall impression of Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ toothpaste?

I certainly like the idea! I like the packaging too, but wasn't too keen on the flavour, I like my mint much more minty. It's not unpleasant though and my teeth felt clean afterwards.

Q2. Would you replace your regular toothpaste with Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ toothpaste?

If it was available in a mintier version, then absolutely. My teeth need all the help they can get.

Q3. What did your DCs like most about Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ Kids toothpaste (such as taste, texture, packaging)?

They both like the packaging - the purple is really attractive. DS (6) likes the mint flavour (it's grown up) but DD (almost 4) says it's too 'fizzy' for her but she will use it, so we push on. They like that it matches mummy and daddy's too.

Q4. Would you recommend Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ to other parents?

Yes I think so, I don't have any insight into its efficacy - but it's worth a try.

sharond101 · 25/03/2015 19:39

Q1. What was your overall impression of Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ toothpaste?
I liked the packaging and found it to be eye catching. The taste wasn't strong enough for me but not something I disliked. My teeth felt very clean and I was reassured that it was a sugar neutraliser although I cannot be sure other toothpastes aren't also sugar neutralisers.

Q2. Would you replace your regular toothpaste with Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ toothpaste? I perefer a mintier flavour so probably not but I really like the idea.

Q3. What did your DCs like most about Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ Kids toothpaste (such as taste, texture, packaging)? My Son was disappointed in the packaging he likes fun characters and this looked too grown up for him. He didn't complain about the taste or the texture though and brushed away happily.

Q4. Would you recommend Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ to other parents? I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend it but I would say good things about it if it was brought up in conversation.

Whyisitsodifficult · 25/03/2015 19:54

Q1. What was your overall impression of Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ toothpaste?

I'm used to a stronger minty flavour with my usual brand. It wasn't unpleasant though and I like the premis behind it.

Q2. Would you replace your regular toothpaste with Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ toothpaste?

I'll say no but that's because I use a sensitive brand and I've noticed the difference since starting the trial.

Q3. What did your DCs like most about Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ Kids toothpaste (such as taste, texture, packaging)?

One doesn't like the taste, the other hasn't commented. Both said "cool" to the packaging!

Q4. Would you recommend Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ to other parents?

I'm yet to be convinced that it's any better than their usual brand but I generally don't go around recommending toothpastes, unless there is something amazing about it.

GeorgiePorgie123 · 25/03/2015 21:08

Q1: We really the packaging for the toothpaste and my little girl loved the fact it was purple. Good colours that will make it stand out. The toothpaste is ok the initial taste didn't come across as very minty, we actually thought it had a slightly aniseed flavour until we read the box!
The toothpaste cleans our teeth well but neither my husband or I felt that our mouths retained a fresh taste.

Q2: Possibly if it was on offer as I tend to buy whichever toothpatse is the best value.

Q3: My daughter really liked the packaging and the purple colour. She also loved the smiley chart and and the fact that her toothpaste looked like ours. Unfortunately she is not very keen on the initial taste and spits most of it out.

Q4: I'm not sure but I would tell people we had tried it.

FrankWelker · 25/03/2015 21:08

1.My kids preferred the taste of this toothpaste. I also preferred its texture- seemed to coat the teeth much better than gel toothpaste. I also preferred the taste.

  1. I would definitely replace the childrens and my own toothpaste with this one.
3.my kids preferred the taste and liked the purple box.
  1. Would definitely recommend this to other people.

Q1. What was your overall impression of Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ toothpaste?

Nice packaging and great not too overpowering taste

Q2. Would you replace your regular toothpaste with Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ toothpaste?

If the price was right yes I would

Q3. What did your DCs like most about Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ Kids toothpaste (such as taste, texture, packaging)?

she liked the taste of the paste and the size of the tube. I told her its a special one just for her, she like the frothyness of the toothpaste as well

Q4. Would you recommend Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ to other parents?

Yes I would have no problems recommending it

traceofinsanity · 25/03/2015 21:26

Q1. What was your overall impression of Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ toothpaste?
Overall my impression was good. I like the packaging; it's nice and eye catching; quite unusual colours for toothpaste packaging. It seems quite thick when you first put it on the toothbrush, but didn't notice much of a difference in using it. It's not as minty as other toothpastes I usually but, but not bad tasting. It is quite expensive, and the adult version is a smaller tube than my normal brand, but I do like the concept, especially for my dd who eats lots of fruit. She did find the child's version a lot stronger in taste than the one she's used to and wasn't sure at first, but I think she'll get used to it. She did really like the packaging though, even when I held it against our normal brand (aquafresh), with the fun characters on the tube (she's only 4 so I was quite surprised at that!).

Q2. Would you replace your regular toothpaste with Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ toothpaste? Not sure, possibly if on offer and dh gets used to the taste (he's not too keen right now). I might switch dd's toothpaste to this one though as I do really worry about sugar on her teeth.

Q3. What did your DCs like most about Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ Kids toothpaste (such as taste, texture, packaging)? Dd liked the packaging best, and I think the fact that her tube looks like mummy and daddy's made her feel all grown up. It foamed up a lot more than the one she normally has which put me off a bit (mess and the thought of all the 'soap' I'm assuming must be in it), but she was fine with it.

Q4. Would you recommend Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ to other parents? Yes possibly, if I think it's working, but not sure how I will be able to tell Confused

Lisad1975 · 25/03/2015 21:39

Q2 - yes I would buy it again I like to change and it would be on my list !
Q3 - the packaging is a huge hit with the kids ! The flip lid is fab as lid cant get lost and it wont dry out!
Taste was fine and not unusual or horrid.
Q4 - definately as part of a discussion .

RedandYellowandPink · 25/03/2015 21:51

Q1. What was your overall impression of Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ toothpaste?

A good idea, nice packaging. Tasted a bit odd, but manageable.

Q2. Would you replace your regular toothpaste with Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ toothpaste?

I'm not sure, I think it might depend on price.

Q3. What did your DCs like most about Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ Kids toothpaste (such as taste, texture, packaging)?

The shiny packet! I'm afraid he really hated the taste and begged me to use his normal toothpaste. It may be toddler histrionics (he is 3), but I tried it a few times and even pretended to use the normal stuff but he called me on it.

Q4. Would you recommend Colgate® Maximum Cavity Protection plus Sugar Acid Neutraliser™ to other parents?

I don't think I can given my DS completely refused to use it!
