DD (3.7) is addicted to all things Lion King at the moment and I'd love to take her to see the musical. However I was wondering if she might be a bit young to understand it being people and not lions and was also wondering if it has the same storyline and songs as the movie?

YES! I took my older 3 a couple of years ago. My youngest at that time would have been about 5 or 6ish. It is one of the most fantastic shows we have seen. As far as I remember it was fairly close to the original stroyline - I am sure she will love it.

We're thinking of this - we have the CD on in the car constantly and our 2 sing their heads off.

I saw two tickets on ebay yesterday for xmas eve - would be perfect as her b'day is xmas day but they were about 150 pounds

As long as the original songs are in there i think she will love it!! I remember taking my sister to beauty and the beast about 10 years ago and being quite disappointed - this one sounds superb though!

DD will love it, my dd saw the condensed version at Eurodisney when she was almost 3 and she loved it.

I took my nephew and neice to see the stage show in London, i think my nephew was four at the time and he was captivated. When we arrived our seats had been double book as I was heavily pregnant at the time they gave us the royal box as compenasation which is where the members of the cast watch the show from when they are not on stage so we got to see all the charctars up close, the kids didn;t know which way to look.

Which are the cheapest best seat tickets for Lion king at the Lyceum in London in April?

We are also looking for a contemporary hip hotel in which I think is called the south bank area. (apparently it is walking distance from the theatre)

Lastly does anyone know a direct no. or email for the theatre its self?

Any help appreciated as I am trying to plan a special anniversary.

Yes it's absolutely amazing! Try to wait for the Kids Go Free promotion in the summer. Totally worth it!
