Who’s the most embarrassing - the parents or the kids?

Tomorrow - Friday (26 May) at 12.30 pm we’ll be live on air for a Facebook live with author and columnist TIM DOWLING. His latest book is called Dad You Suck and we’ll be asking him who he thinks thinks can deliver the most squirm-worthy moments in different situations; the parents or the kids.

We’ll also be asking you to share your embarrassing parent/ embarrassing kids stories and also to put your questions/comments to Tim, so do join us. Everyone who likes the Mumsnet Facebook pageand comments will be entered into a draw to win a SIGNED copy of DAD YOU SUCK.

Poor old Tim who will forever be the example you come up with when you're trying to describe a twat :o. And it's not even fair - I've yet to detect anything twattish about him. His wife is pretty damn formidable, I've always felt - I don't think someone with quite that much assertiveness would marry a twat.

How did your sons feel about the recent Guardian piece where there were photos of them? Did you have to bribe them to do it? Did all their mates realise who they/you were already?

Why do we have to go to Facebook for this, instead of having the chat on Mumsnet, by the way?

Because Tim wants to sell you his book. And it's more effective to do this visually, talking into a camera because he can have the book propped up next to him and refer to it every couple of minutes. In a webchat it would be embarrassing for him to keep writing 'Oh by the way, I have a new book and it's just been launched'.
