Trying to buy a Smoby Friends Playhouse...but deliveries not customer friendly

I'm trying to buy the above playhouse from Toys R Us. They tell me that they dont deliver them, Smoby (the maker) do. However, delivery date is estimated - 'up to 8 days' and you cannot pay extra to choose a convenient date, which I would be willing to do. My view is that Toys R Us / Smoby obviously arent bothered about selling this £200+ playhouse, and certainly not bothered about customer service or their reputation as a supplier. What does everyone else think?
