Film buffs will be delighted to hear that Hugh Jackman and Taron Egerton (oh yes) are going to be taking your questions about their lives and their roles in the film Eddie the Eagle that hits the UK screens on Easter Monday March 28.

Post up your questions for Hugh and Taron before 5pm on Thursday 17th March and we’ll be putting the questions to them later in the week. The interview will be filmed so you can watch Hugh and Taron answering your questions on Mumsnet YouTube channel next week.

EDDIE THE EAGLE is a feel-good story about Michael “Eddie” Edwards (Taron Egerton), an unlikely but courageous British ski-jumper who never stopped believing in himself – even as an entire nation was counting him out. With the help of a rebellious and charismatic coach (played by Hugh Jackman), Eddie takes on the establishment and wins the hearts of sports fans around the world by making an improbable and historic showing at the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics.

HUGH JACKMAN is an Academy Award-nominated, Golden Globe and Tony Award-winning performer. From his adamantium claw-wielding Wolverine in the blockbuster X-Men franchise, to his award winning performance as Jean Valien in Tom Hooper’s Les Misérables. Jackman has proven to be one of the most versatile actors of our time.

TARON EGERTON starred as the lead role of Gary 'Eggsy' Unwin Kingsman: The Secret Service, opposite Colin Firth, Michael Caine and Samuel L Jackson.

And last year he played Edward ‘Mad Teddy’ Smith opposite Tom Hardy in the biopic about the Kray twins. Egerton was nominated for the Rising Star Award at the BFI London Film Festival, has just been named one of the “30 under 30” list in Forbes magazine and has been nominated for this year’s BAFTA EE Rising Star Award.

Wow, Hugh Jackman! That's huge!

I need a decent question.

To Hugh, is there anyone you haven't had the chance to work with that you would really love to in the future and why?

NaraDeer · 15/03/2016 22:13

For Hugh, what did you think of the recent Deadpool film? Grin

Worcswoman · 15/03/2016 22:59

Hi Hugh, what advice would you give to Charlie Hunnam whose lady has been the target of very critical female 'fans" ?

HawkEyeTheNoo · 16/03/2016 00:18

Will you marry me? Either of you, I don't mind who!!

To Hugh, I'm in an amateur musical society playing Dolly Parton's part in 9 to five the musical - we are soooo compatible.

What is your favourite musical to watch? And if you could play the part in any musical what would it be? Smile

KimmySchmidtsSmile · 16/03/2016 00:43

Hello gentlemen, how did you find it filming in Bavaria?
And what is the legendary Christopher Walken like to work with?

AdriftOnMemoryBliss · 16/03/2016 10:05

This one is to Hugh. Considering the variety of roles you've chosen, what is it that usually draws you to agree to play those parts? And, What specifically made you want this one?

QueenElizardbeth · 16/03/2016 10:15

Oh My God.

Sorry that's all I can come up with. I hope other people can think enough to formulate a question.

Worcswoman · 16/03/2016 11:20

To Taron:

Given that James Marsters (Spike) and Gary Numan married one of their ardent fans, what is the most challenging aspect of being a movie star and the inevitable attention it brings?

iamdivergent · 16/03/2016 17:49

OMG OMG OMG OMG erm....

To Taron:

In The Kingsman you're known as 'Eggsy' is this your own nickname or was it just coincidence?

goodenoughmum88 · 16/03/2016 19:32

Hello Hugh and Taron.
Have either of you backed a lost cause? If so what was it and what did you do to support it?

Hi Hugh and Taron

We went to see a preview of Eddie the Eagle at the weekend. So enjoyed it. Eddie's spirit so embraces the very positive aspects of the eccentric Englishman abroad but also the best of British sportsmanship.

On a different tack entirely (and a special question for our Mumsnet Merton & Wimbledon Book Group, meeting tonight in downtown Wimbledon), what are your favourite novels and why?

Wink Wine.
