If you’ve been caught up in Oscar fever, then join us with our own bit of Hollywood glamour this week when we’ll be putting your questions to Golden Globe winner and Oscar nominee Kate Hudson. Kate will be joining us for a cuppa at London’s Claridge’s where she will answer your questions direct to camera.

Post up your Qs to Kate before 4pm on Wednesday 2nd March and we'll select the best of the bunch and see what she has to say about her life and her role in her latest film, Kung Fu Panda 3. We’ll upload the video to our youtube channel the following week.

Do you feel there should be a greater variety of roles for women in film? Not just in terms of acting roles (where there is a dearth of decent roles for women when they're 'too old' to play a love interest but 'not old enough' for character roles) but also as writers, directors, producers etc?

As I said I think you're underrated and I would love to see you in more roles that explore the human condition more widely than gender driven roles.

Kate, Almost Famous is one of my favourite movies of all time and I loved you as Penny Lane - we even had everyone sing Tiny Dancer after our wedding ceremony last year in homage to the scene on the bus. You clearly like music (well, your chosen partners would suggest so anyway :) ) Just wondering who your favourite bands are?
