Author Marian Keyes is returning to Mumsnet on Thursday 18th February between 9 and 10pm. Marian’s last visit was a huge success and we’re delighted that she’s agreed to join us this time for an evening webchat, to tell us about her new non-fiction book.

Making it up as I go along presents Marian’s funny, candid and heartfelt observations on modern life. It’s her third collection of essays (her first to be written in the twitter era) and shares her thoughts on the tricky business of being a woman in today’s demanding world.

Come and chat to Marian on Thursday 18th Feb between 9 and 10pm or if you're unable to join us at that time, post up your questions for Marian in advance on this thread.

@filigree2015

Just want to say i love the letter in the other side of the story where Anton says something like "you'll always be my beginning, middle and end". Seriously contemplated shoe horning it into my wedding stationery, but clearly the context didn't really work!

Hi Filigree2015, thanks so very nice of you, thank you so much. It's lovely to hear that it touched you and it'll give me confidence when I sit down at my computer tomorrow morning xxxxxx

@Eastpoint

I don't have a good question & I'm coming late to this but I'd like to say how much I enjoy your work & respect you.
Hi Eastpoint, that is SO lovely of you! Truly! You've no idea how much I appreciate your message. I've been making more of an effort lately just to tell people nice things about themselves. They're often startled at the time, but I think it's a good thing to do. So thank you VERY MUCH! big smile on me dial xxxxxx
ImperialBlether · 18/02/2016 21:56

Grin @ startled.

Choughed · 18/02/2016 21:56

Joining in very late just to say I have read all of your books eleventy million times (re-reading Sushi for Beginners now, and you very kindly signed it for me too). I love them all. Thank you. Also if you ever want to visit Cornwall we have loads of room. And clotted cream. And DH bakes a mean Apple Cake. Smile

@Zucker

I didn't know you were on here tonight just saw himself posting on the twitters about it!!

My question is have you any top tips as to where us not 20 year olds could be buying decent wearable non arse showing clothes these days?

Hi Zucker, you made me laugh! Now, I've noticed that there's a FABALISS trend to oversized tops (it's like the 90s all over again.) Like, HUGE denim jackets and big sweatshirts and also funny shirts that are shortish at the front and LOOOOONG at the back and I'm a great fan of Asos, I think they have ALL THE THINGS and very affordable prices. I hope this is useful xxxxxxx

ImperialBlether · 18/02/2016 21:58

Yes, thank you so much.
