Hi Steve - our 22 month son is still breastfeeding (not much now)and still in bed with us, which has been lovely. We would however like to move onward and get him into his own bedroom. Have you any tips on how to do this in a way which is as untraumatic as possible to everyone concerned? Early attempts were a disaster - the controlled crying turned into whole nights of trauma that neither my husband nor I could stomach, and it certainly felt cruel to subject our son to it. Bed and breastfeeding are closely connected as my son will still have a quick feed during the night. Do I stop the feeding or sort out the bed first?
