Just wondering what age is suitable for the above. There is panto and cbeebies locally this Xmas, ds will just be coming up to 2 but I think maybe a bit too young to sit still (regardless of how long he can watch at home without blinking )

ds went to see Fireman Sam this summer and he was 2.9. He loved it.

Whether you will be able to cope is another matter entirely

Cbeebies is full of under 3s. Panto perhaps a bit older.

Just been to see deeply disappointing and useless Gruffalo show (avoid!)
with 3y9m and 2y3m. 1 hour long.
Way too long for the 2yr old, but 3 year old enjoyed it.
I now think 45 mins is probably a good length Perhaps would be different if yours can concentrate for long periods.

PretendFriend · 02/10/2006 23:29

The Gruffalo show - "Songs, laughs and scary fun for children aged 3 and up, and their adults..." Really not intended for under-3s

The same is true of most kids' shows - there are occasional ones aimed at 2+, they tend to be very lively and much shorter.
