EU Membership in the event of a Yes Vote

Mr Salmond

I have considered all the points being debated and find some of them unclear, particularly on the financial status of Scotland in the event of a YES vote.

However, what concerns me above all else is that should it be YES then Scotland will gallop headlong into applying for membership of the EU.

Therefore, will the people of Scotland be given the same opportunity as the rest of the UK, to Vote either For or Against applying for EU membership?

It appears that if it is a vote for independence then we will soon give up our so called Sovereignty to be ruled and dictated to by Brussels.

Is this really Independence?
