We're delighted that Phil 'Mister Maker' Gallagher is joining us at MNHQ on Tuesday at 1pm for a webchat.

Phil has worked in children’s television for the last fifteen years as a production team member, writer, actor and presenter, most famously as Mister Maker in the BBC crafts show. Since its first transmission in 2007, Mister Maker has become a worldwide hit and now plays in over 100 countries around the globe. Phil spent most of last year working on its sixth series, Mister Maker Around The World – where filming took place in the UK, Australia, Hong Kong, South Africa and Brazil.

This Easter Phil will be starring as Mister Maker in CBeebies Live! The Big Band, the new arena show that is touring around the UK. He’ll be appearing alongside Justin Fletcher, Mr Tumble, Mr Bloom and many other CBeebies favourites. Full details can be found at //www.cbeebieslive.com.

Come and chat to Phil on Tuesday 4 March at 1pm or post a question to him in advance here.

Ahead of the webchat we've got three great 'Mister Maker Make Sheets' for you to download and do ahead: Mister Maker's Flying Saucer, pencil case and Splatmonster.

Oh wow! Michaela Strachan?! I remember her from the early days of the Really Wild Show with Chris Packam and Terry Nutkin! Lucky you! Mind you... lucky you for being able to go to Cape Town and the such. You must really love it!
I'm a crafter but I reckon crochet and fibre crafts aren't exactly valued for their entertainment properties :P

@ninjaturtlesmum

Hi mister maker

My two sons have been fans of your shows for a few years now, in fact we have quite a few creations round the house to prove it. My eldest has his heart set on being an artist when he grows up just like mister maker!

Hi ninjaturtlesmum, what a lovely message to read! Send my best wishes to your eldest and tell him to consider a spotty waistcoat! I hope he continues to enjoy his artwork and that you and your sons keep watching our show and having lots of fun x

To all my Mumsnetter friends, thank you so much for an enjoyable afternoon. It has been great to chat with you - thanks for your fantastic questions and good humour! Also, thank you for your kind words and support of Mister Maker - it is really appreciated by me and all of our team. Being Mister Maker is a dream job for me, so hearing that so many grown-ups and Mini Makers enjoy watching our show is truly wonderful. Best wishes and love...Phil x

Argh, missed it! never mind. Lovely reading all the answers!

My DS1 and 2 both love your show, which is shown in Australia on ABC2 regularly - DS1 is always wanting to make everything you do. I have to rein him back a little... DS2 is not quite 17mo, so a bit young yet but he loves the Shapes.

He obviously genuinely did too TeamEdward. I am always suspicious of that type of thing, but he named which M4 services it was and you didn't!
