advice on grandparents please

Im not sure where to start so please bare with me. id like some advice please i have 3 year old twins girl and boy and they adore their grandad unfortunately he makes it very obvious that he has a favourite. I'll give some examples we were all round at grand parents house the other day and grandad took my DS for a walk leaving my DD standing in the hallway calling after them :-( i felt her sadness at being left so made a big fuss of her. then grandad came to visit in our house and again took my DS to go and play on the park leaving my DD behind again. she adores her grandad and I'll be honest this has begun to make my blood boil i do not favour my children and do not want others to favour one over the other. how do i tackle this. i have other examples but those are the 2 that really stand out. thank you

Is this your father, or father-in-law? I guess twins can be a little daunting for most people, at least initially, so it may be that he just cannot cope with two 3-year olds at once. But if it is always the one child favoured, that's just not on. You, or your DP, need to have a word before this gets any more ingrained.

Thank you for replying to me. i am new to this so not sure how to get onto chat? Its my dad and always my DS who gets the one on one attention i wouldn't mind if he alternated between the two as both at once can be a bit of a handful however my DD is going to start to pick up on this so im keen to nip it in the bud just not sure how to go about it.
