How mothers out there see Mumsnet

The question today is, not what everyone thought about Nigel Farage, but rather what Mr Farage and other Mums out there, who are not supporters of any political party, now think about Mumsnet. On yesterday's evidence, it is that those who vented their scorn yesterday on Farage, have a lynch mob mentality. Is this how they treat everyone who holds a different view to themselves. It was claimed that the mums who came on line yesterday were UKIP 'plants.Has it not occured to the mums baying for blood that it was likely to have been just those who, through friends had heard that Farage was to be 'grilled' and they had a genuine interest in seeing what he had to say. They, including myself, would have gone away with the certain impression that Mumsnet has been taken over by a band of women who go out of their way to gag free speech and democracy in a very nasty way. They behave like members of some extreme political grouping, hell bend on behaving like the red hatted knitting women during the French Revolution. It would have been nice to have seen a few manners ~ whatever are these mums teaching their children ~ to go out and beat up their friends if they don't agree with them? Are there no Christians in Mumsnet ~ or isn't that politically correct anymore. Heaven help us if this is an example of modern mums ~ but we know it isn't, its just the bullies and yobs on Mumsnet who are ruining it for anyone else.
