We pay a company to clean our bins once a month on bin day. I’m not usually home when they come, but I’m off work today And happened to be in the kitchen. I watched my next door neighbour wait until the cleaner left, take the house number sticker off my bin and put it on his, then swap our bin for his so he had the cleaned bin and I had a non-cleaned one.

He was back in his house before I had time to contain the dog and go outside but now DH is home, WIBU to go round and ask for my bin back??

Just take it back and swap the numbers back around. Cheeky git

He’s a local councillor as well!

Agree that you need to paint your bin number on (or flowers or something jazzy)!

But YANBU to go round and tell the CF you've seen them and take your bin back... How often do you think they do this? Do you reckon they do this every time you have the bin cleaned?

If he’s a councillor then I’d wait and film him the next time he does it and post the footage on facebook.

It must be the first time because I’ve never noticed the bin isn’t cleaned when the cleaners are supposed to have been, although I really don’t pay much attention! I’ve asked DH and he thinks we wouldn’t have noticed and this guy has probably done it before, but DH is a right dramalama and really dislikes this guy anyway.

DH went and got it back and put the tackiest big bulldog bin stickers from BnM it says hands off our bin I cringe every other week and get it back in as soon as
Possible but it’s worked
