To go round?

We pay a company to clean our bins once a month on bin day. I’m not usually home when they come, but I’m off work today And happened to be in the kitchen. I watched my next door neighbour wait until the cleaner left, take the house number sticker off my bin and put it on his, then swap our bin for his so he had the cleaned bin and I had a non-cleaned one.

He was back in his house before I had time to contain the dog and go outside but now DH is home, WIBU to go round and ask for my bin back??

Glad your DH has gone round. I’d probably use glow in the dark paint as well.

Thehop · 28/06/2021 20:25

Noooooooooooo he did not!!!!!!!!! That’s insane!

Oysterbabe · 28/06/2021 20:26

I just can't believe people pay to have their bin cleaned.

Babygotblueyes · 28/06/2021 20:26

I scratched my number into the bin - you cant scrape it off like paint or peel it off like a sticker. What happened - updates needed!

Amammai · 28/06/2021 20:26

I bet he was so happy with himself for getting a clean bin without having to pay.

Howshouldibehave · 28/06/2021 20:27

What a CF!

BillyIsMyBunny · 28/06/2021 20:27

Wow! That is definitely CF behaviour.

ForeverSausages · 28/06/2021 20:28

Haha yup. £7 a month for both green & black bins and it's worth every penny.
Baker90 · 28/06/2021 20:28

Shamelessly place marking for the update on this CF!

glassfloor · 28/06/2021 20:28

Lots of people like me just randomly posting something to wait for the update....Smile

eatthepineapple · 28/06/2021 20:28

Lalliella · 28/06/2021 20:29

Is he a Tory councillor by any chance?

LST · 28/06/2021 20:29

@Lalliella

Is he a Tory councillor by any chance?
They were my first thoughts too 🤣
MattHancocksSexTape · 28/06/2021 20:30

How does a bin get dirty? Everything’s in bin bags!

JackieWeaversAuthorityHere · 28/06/2021 20:30

We started having it cleaned when I was Pregnant because any bin smell made me heave. You’d be surprised how gross they get!

LemonPartA · 28/06/2021 20:32

Can't wait to hear his explanation

Orchidflower1 · 28/06/2021 20:32

Ooh we have our number “branded”/melted on by the council.

Maybe it’s your neighbour that needs his backside branding then he wouldn’t be such a cf!

MahMahMahMahCorona · 28/06/2021 20:33

I can't wait for the post where @JackieWeaversAuthorityHere's DH comes marching through the gate, clean bin in hand...

MrsMackesy · 28/06/2021 20:33

I am struggling to believe someone would actually do this and in broad daylight.

Oysterbabe · 28/06/2021 20:34

Well yeah this. Also the only thing that goes in ours is stuff that can't be recycled, almost entirely clean plastic. We have a food caddy and separate boxes for everything else.
RainbowBriteUk · 28/06/2021 20:35

Is dh back yet op?

ImSoMagical · 28/06/2021 20:35

I would absolutely know my bin and I don't even get them cleaned- I just know my bins! 🤣 CF of the highest order!
