Would Mumsnet support a campaign on passive vape exposure in the public domain?

I am a Concerned Bus Driver who is lobbying for more clear-cut laws regarding vaping in public places, and the implementation of a "Don't Make them Breathe Your Vape" campaign.

Such a campaign was carried out for cigarette smoking with the "Don't Make Them Breathe Your Smoke" campaign from the late 90's, that went on to include public health awareness adverts on TV and on billboards nationwide. A campaign that continued up to and beyond 2014, where the subsequent social perception regarding awareness as to the dangers of passive smoke exposure led to significant changes in the surrounding law.

I have created a petition to raise government awareness on the extent and effects of passive vape exposure in the public domain.

Would you consider signing, please?

Is there proven risk of harm from passive vaping? I’m not saying I like vaping, but more research may be needed for this to work

I’d need to see some actual evidence that passive vape exposure was harmful, beyond your own anecdotal observations. I’d need to see some proper, peer reviewed scientific papers on it before I signed a petition.
