Hello,
We know maternity care and the current midwifery staffing crisis is something that many of our users feel strongly about.
We often see users sharing their negative experiences throughout all stages of pregnancy and birth and the impact staff shortages had on their quality of care. We also hear from users who are midwives that they are burnt out, stressed and exhausted due to staff shortages.
Therefore we thought we’d let you know about a petition created by Make Birth Better, demanding that Secretary of State for Health and Social Care Therese Coffey commits to the full £350 million funding urgently needed to improve maternity and neonatal services.
You can read more about the petition and sign it here.
Thanks!
