Hello
Carolyn Harris MP has a bill coming to the House of Commons - Menopause (Support and Services) Bill - for its second reading on the 29th October about supporting providing more support to women going through the menopause and perimenopause.
This bill would exempt Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) from NHS prescription charges in England, as is already the case in Wales and Scotland. The Bill will also take in broader issues around menopause rights, entitlements and education.
You can email your MP ahead of the bill's second reading on the 29th to ask them to support the bill and show there is support for it, using the template letter here.
More about the bill and the APPG here: menopause-appg.co.uk/ and read our contribution to its second meeting last month here.
Btw - for those of you in London, there will be a Menopause Revolution rally on this same day just after the bill is heard on the 29th October, from 11:30am – 12:00pm on the Green in Parliament Square.
Thanks!
