A friend has newborn twins but no family nearby to provide support - is there any help available from surestart/ anywhere else?

Someone I met at toddlers with twins suggested Homestart for my friend who just had twins.

do you have a college nearby that does childcare courses? some place students with parents to gain experience. they like people with multiples as its good experience for the students.

I've never heard of homestart - tell me more! And the college idea is fab, I can pass that one on!

I don't know much about it tbh, but I think they send volunteers out to help a few hours a week.

Homestart do, they're a charity.

Google it I'm sure they have a website.

I'm a Homestart volunteer to a mum who has twins. She was referred by her health visitor or the GP can do it. You can also refer yourself.
