What do I buy for 8 yr old twin girls birthday present?

My 8 yr old going to a birthday party of two school friends. Do you buy them:

A) two of the same thing
B) something different for each
C) something to share.??

I haven't a clue... any advice from mums of twins?

being the mum of twins then i would say a present each and a card each my two have so many shared cards it makes it impossible to share them out to go in there birthday boxes

whatever you decide please buy one pressie each as they are individuals. I've already begun this battle for my DTs!

Well I asked the mum of the twins I was buying for .

She said something the same but different (eg lunch boxes in different colours) which I bought and she took one back and changed them so they were identical

These two little girls are dressed IDENTICALLY all the time! My kids say it should definately be a present each but not necessarily the same.

Oh dear, not a life-threatening problem but interesting to hear what others think!
