back-packs for twins - any suggestions?

We've got a weekend away in the country planned with our twins. Although our twins aren't big for 11 months - the BabyBjorns that we have are fairly backbreaking when worn for a while.

Does anyone have suggestions for a cheap back-pack - I've seen the Chicco one - but not sure it's any good and as with everything for twins - we will have to buy two of them!!!

Thanks!

2nd hand ergos, you could get them for £40 each maybe? Or a similar type of soft structured carrier (ssc) like patapum etc - just thinking of the space carrying two! The bigger, structured backpacks would take up quite a lot of space on your trip, I would think.

With our back packs, the important thing has been getting them most comfortable for each of us, so we ended up with two different types. The macpac fits me better and the littlelife one fits their dad. But it seems to vary. We tried on loads to find the one that was the best fit.

pop into the Sling cupboard thread, I am sure they would advise re soft fabric wrap type ones.
