Hello everyone!

I carried my twins till 38 weeks and they were big girls when they were born. My muscles separated during the pregnancy by 4 fingers and my skin stretched badly as well!!!

while i was in the hospital physio told me to do this one exercise. I've been doing it but there is not much change!

Has anyone had this problem?
How long did it take u to go back to normal?
What exercises i can do? What worked for u?
Did anyone had their muscules clipped together?
What about skin? does it mean tummy tack is inevitable?

Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi

I had/have this. Its called a split rectus sheath. I had two chats with the NHS physio who couldn't have cared less and just wanted me to attend the 'help-group' for support

I got a list of exercises to do but I didn't squeeze it in along with moving house, new twins plus DD1 and just keeping my chin above water Four years on and I am trying to fix it now......it doesn't cause me any problems as such but I know if I don't then my back could suffer as the tummy muscles are important to support the spine. I can still feel the separation but its a lot narrower now I have been doing sit ups properly!

As for the skin............. I think its your war medal
