Question for anyone with twins - playdate etiquette with twins

There is a set of b/g twins in DS's class, and DS would like the boy to come round to play. What is the etiquette on asking twins - I am presuming it is fine to invite just the boy, bit was wondering how parents of twins feel about it.

They are all 5 btw.

Not a parent of twins but have same dilemma with DD (6) who has g/g twins in class so will be interested to see what twin parents feel.

I think it's absolutely fine to invite just the one. One of mine though, is very dependant on the other so atm there is no way I could accept a single dt invite, but I am hoping by the time they are 5 things might improve a bit.

I'd hate for parents to think they have to come as a pair though.

Thank you .

Will invite the boy twin round soon

I have twins and positively encourage them to have separate play dates/parties etc. They shouldn't be joined at the hip.

Most of us twin mums will jump at the chance of separating them for playdates etc. The DTs get used to it. I know that it is good for DT2(b) to go on separate playdates than DT1(g). She tends to take over.

Just ask, she can only say no, but I bet she doesn't.

Have asked the mum and he will be coming round next week
