Confused over birth weight estimations for my MCDA twins

Hi all, I'm 28 weeks with MCDA twin boys. At 26 weeks I was told that the boys will be averaging 6lbs each when they are delivered at 36 weeks (at that time they were 1lb 14oz and 1lb 15oz. On Wednesday I was told that they will reach 4lbs 6oz and 4lbs 7oz at 36 weeks (They are now 2lb 8oz and 2lb 9oz). Again yesterday I was told that they would be aound the 6lbs mark. What do you all think? The reason I'm so interested is because I was told that if i can get them to 5lb and over then they won't need to go in to SCBU. My DD was in SCBU and I'd like to avoid it if possible.

I was never given an estimate on my boys weight. They were born at 37 weeks weighing 5lb12oz & 5lb2oz and didnt need special care although they had the beds standing by just in case.
